Avatar Meher Baba’s dearest Katie Irani flew into her Beloved’s arms on 29/05/09 at 0410. She passed away from heart failure in Meherazad; she was 89 years old. The cremation was held at 1730 on 29/05/09 at Meherabad. Katie’s ashes are interred by the east side of His Samadhi on Meherabad Hill.

Young adults from all over the world between the ages of 19 and 35 gather at Meherabad to spend six days together in the company of the Ancient One. The keynote of the “sahavas” is the celebration of Meher Baba’s love through sharing, creative expression (such as art, music and drama), and service at Meherabad. It is now scheduled to be there in June 2009..
