Ramchandra Bapuji Kale or R.B. Kale
He was commonly knows as Kalemama in Meher Baba’s circle. He was Meher Baba’s close companion and one of the earliest Mandali, since 1926. A Civil Engineer by Profession, Kalemama held a number of responsible positions in Maharastra Govt services, as Chief Executive Officer of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation, Estate Engineer and Secretary at Dhule etc. Kalemama was one of those rare disciples of Baba who also had the rare opportunity to meet Shri Sai Baba, Shri Upasni Maharaj and Shri Narayan Maharaj, a number of times. The Wedding of one of Shri Sai Baba’s very well known disciple Mr. Bhate’s daughter was proposed with Kalemama’s elder brother Anna ji. Shri Sai Baba called the families to Shirdi, and Kalemama spent his Winter holidays at the Shirdi Ashram in 1910. Kalemama along with Mrs. Kalemama and Murli came to settle at Meherabad Ashram after accepting Meher Baba as their spiritual guide. Kalemama being a civil engineer supervised a number of construction activities at Maherabad. Mrs. Kalemama passed away at Meherabad in 1932 and Kalemama on 16 Sep,1954.
KALEMAMA’S DIARY
Kalemama wrote this diary after he met Meher Baba (1926) and started living with him as his close Mandali or inner circle of disciples. Kalemama met Shri Narayan Maharaj (1908), Shri Sai Baba (1910-1911) and Shri Upasni Maharaj and Meher Baba (1927 onward). His diary pages are his personal notes written in his native language Marathi (India), recording the factual details about his meeting with the great masters. These pages are a great insight on the life of those Spiritual beings who are now worshiped as Perfect Masters of their time, and the lives of their disciples.

Kalemama Diary describes his personal darshan of Shri Sadguru Narayan Maharaj of Kedgaon from 1908 onwards. Meher Baba declared Narayan Maharaj was one of the Perfect Masters of his time and his Guru. Later Kalemama came to Meher Baba and became a resident Mandali at Meherabad Ashram from 1927. He was one of the very fortunate souls to have met few of Meher Baba’s Perfect Masters. 
Kalemama Meeting with Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi (Year 1910 and 1911) Kalemama or Ramchandra Bapuji Kale and old Mandali and disciple of Meher Baba was fortunate to have met Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi in 1910 and 1911 before coming to Meher Babas ashram. Kalemama with his elder brother Anna Kale met Sai Baba at Shirdi and again had the fortune to stay at Shirdi for a week during winter holidays in 1911. His diary pages describe how he came in to Sai Babas contact at Shirdi.
