This is the only book of its kind. It is an exciting, detailed account of Meher Baba’s work with the “God-intoxicated”-spiritually advanced souls who, overcome by the power of their inner vision, are drowned in the ecstasy of that experience. The book begins with a masterly two-part preface by Baba, distinguishing between ordinary madness and the apparent madness of some spiritually enlightened individuals. It goes on to describe the arduous travels undertaken by Baba and His disciples in search of these masts (divinely intoxicated seekers), and the behavior and character of the masts themselves, colorful, often extremely bizarre, and disarming in their predictions regarding Baba and the future of the world.
